BAROQUE PEARLS - Stylish and ornamental

Baroque pearls, an obvious reference to the ornate Italian style of architecture, are irregular non spherical pearls that comprise of fresh water and saltwater cultured pearls. These pearls are ornamental, ornate and convoluted in character and style.

Created by the Black Lipped Oyster (Pincatada margaritifera) and Gold Lipped White Lipped Oyster (Pincatada maxima) in pearl oyster farms, the most famous Baroque pearls are the South Sea and Tahitian pearls created in pearl oyster farms in Western Australia and Tahiti.
